Or purplelicious pancakes, as the dancer calls them!
These can be made with just about any berry and with any whole grain…experiment and have fun with them. When using whole wheat or spelt, I use 1/4 cup less flour…it just depends on how thick you like your pancakes.
1 1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/4 cup almond milk
3 tbs butter (or use 2 tbs olive oil)
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
pinch of ground cinnamon
pinch of ground nutmeg
1/4 c fresh blackberries
- Combine and mix all in blender
- Cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes on each side.
- Add your favorite toppings: butter, syrup, blackberries, jam, etc. and enjoy!
